CHRISTONE “KINGFISH” INGRAM knows there are a lot of guitars in the sea, to borrow a phrase, and he’s been known to play quite a few of them over the years. But now, the heir to the Delta blues crown finally has hooked one of his own: the Fender Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe.
Modeled after the Troublemaker Tele, from the guitar maker’s Parallel Universe series, Ingram cribbed specs like the stop tailpiece and jumbo Seventies, and to appear on’s September 2022 cover.
