‘My decorations are inspired by nature’

orn in the same village in the south of the Netherlands, Annemie Custers and her husband Geert knew they wanted to live somewhere nearby when they decided to move in together in 1992. ‘We both grew up in farmhouses, but felt that a big house surrounded by lots of land would need too much maintenance,’ recalls Annemie.
