DAM Satchwell's journey into the realm of hot rodding began clear across the automotive spectrum in the world of Jappas. Back in his youth, they and the boy racer fraternity were his main focus, but he used to live with Dave Porter, an avid hot rodder from Motorworld in Rotorua. Adam assisted Dave with the construction of his Jailbar pickup and other cool cars. Adam says that as he grew older, he grew up and “got over it” and moved out of the boy racer world
