AS A SOUTH ASIAN WOMAN, I love visiting outdoor spaces and countryside across Britain. I have grown up getting outdoors with my parents, who are both immigrants and came to the UK in the 1970s.

I have always loved exploring, being active and hiking. It’s in our blood. I remember visiting Snowdon several times as a child.
