STEP INSIDE…
WHO LIVES HERE? I'm Rebekah Newman, 36, a make-up artist. I live in Essex with my husband, Jon, 39, a project manager, our daughter, Dolcie, 10, and our rescue pugs, Skye and Jasper. I document our renovation @that_home_with_the_pugs.
WHAT WAS UPDATED? We removed a dividing wall between a small kitchen and a larger dining room. We also swapped them around, so the kitchen is now where the dining room used to be.
WHY THE CHANGE? The previous kitchen had no access to the garden and was small, poky and cut off from the other rooms.
HOW LONG DID About 18 months and there are still things we'd like to complete, such as sanding the floorboards.
