A 'CELLAR FIND'

While barn finds get all the attention, Stub Titus knows that a well-stored “cellar find,” such as his 1932 Chevy, can be even better.

“She’s got 23,000 miles,” he said. “Can you imagine — 90 years old and not being driven?”

Calling his Confederate BA Deluxe Sport Coupe a “find” — cellar or otherwise — might be slightly misleading since the car had belonged to a close friend, and Titus knew it well. The friend, he recalled, once told him that, as a member of the Chevrolet faithful, Titus should own the car. After his friend’s passing, members of his family had the same thought.
