It’s not long since we last featured Microsoft PowerToys on this page (see Issue 641, page 18), but we make no apologies for including it again, because the free system-utility suite just keeps getting better. To download it, scroll down to the ‘Installing and running Microsoft PowerToys’ section of the link above and click ‘PowerToysSetup-0.64.0-x64.exe’.

PowerToys 0.64 adds two useful tools to its collection, bringing the total to 17 – though the Video Conference Mute option will soon be dropped. Our favourite of these is File Locksmith, which fixes the common problem of
