Copy clean links from your address bar

Some websites append lots of extra information to the page URLs they show in your address bar. These strings of apparently random characters not only make it more difficult to copy and paste web addresses into emails, social-media posts and other browser windows, but can also be used to identify and track you. To combat this menace, the latest version of Brave, 1.45 (released in October) adds the option to cleanly copy URLs by stripping the excess elements so only the main page address is included.

To use this new feature, either right-click the lengthy URL in Brave’s address bar and select ‘Copy clean link’ (see screenshot
