SOUTH Africa has 22 national parks which were created to conserve our country’s natural and cultural heritage. Our reserves stretch from the |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park in the Northern Cape to the Mapungubwe National Park in Mpumalanga, and are managed by South African National Parks (SANParks).
