• Paper: 140lb (300gsm) medium rough watercolour paper secured with 50mm gummed paper tape. This painting could • Brushes: Natural sable watercolour brushes including a No. 10 round, No. 6 round and a rigger. • Paint: This type of painting needs a good quality paint to ensure you get deep saturated pigment. I used Sennelier L’Aquarelle but any good quality watercolour will work in the following colours: French ultramarine blue; burnt sienna; burnt umber; yellow ochre; Sennelier red; alizarin crimson; viridian green; Payne’s grey; and titanium white.
