BEST BARISTA IN THE BIZ!

FOR many of us, it’s part of everyday life. It kickstarts our day, perks up a post-lunch slump and rounds off a fancy dinner. We sip a cup over a get-together with friends, have a steaming mug by our side during meetings and take a flask on outings.

But coffee is more than just a beverage for Phuti Mmotla – it’s his passion, his job and his reason for getting up in the morning. And now it’s putting him firmly on the map too.

The 32-year-old was recently crowned Starbucks’ barista champion in Europe, the Middle East and Africa after slaying the competition during an all-things-coffee contest
