A winter wonderland

Of course, you could just shut up shop and turn your back on the garden until spring. After all, nothing much is happening out there, is it? True enough, nature is moving more slowly during the winter months, but to assume this means nothing interesting is going on is an admission that something is sadly lacking in your planting scheme. There may well be very few deckchair moments in the garden at Christmas, but the views from your windows can provide you with more inspiration than you might think if you grow plants that are happy to give their all in the festive season.
