AMC LOVERS

Dear Classic American In reply to the request in the October issue regarding AMC vehicles in the UK I thought I would share my own car with you. It is a 1967 Ambassador convertible with the 343 V8 in right-hand drive, it was an original UK market car that I purchased in November 2014 at the age of 24. I’m now 32 and it is unfortunately off the road and in need of some welding to the sills and rear wheel arches... Quite a bit of welding in fact! It is currently stripped down and waiting for my attention; however, there are two Minis and two Land Rovers to attend to first. It will get done and be back on the road at some point. I love it and wouldn’t be without it.
