We’re now coming into winter, and it’s likely that all of your trails are either frozen, soaking wet, or covered in debris. Fear not, though as all is not lost. This is the perfect time of the year to really focus on your technique – when the trails are at their most difficult and challenging.
Over the next few issues we’re going to be focusing on purposeful practice, and making sure that every time you ride your bike you are thinking about key skills that will unlock extra control on the trails. Spend a little time on each ride catching your mistakes, then thinking about what you should be focusing on, and over the next few months you will be able to up your game so that as the weather gets better you can ride with increased confidence.
