RIP

John Hartman

March 18, 1950 – December 29, 2021

The Doobie Brothers have belatedly revealed the passing of their co-founding original drummer, who died last December at the age of 72. John Hartman was abefore retiring in ’79. He then returned for the albums and Hartman was also a part of the Doobies’ induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2020. The group described him as a “wild spirit, great drummer and showman”.
