It’s not “off roading,” because that conjures images of mud running and rock crawling. It’s not “car camping,” because that’s associated with parks. It’s more like van life, except you want to take your van to the most inaccessible places to commune with them instead of, say, the Pacific Coast Highway. Remember when G.I. Joe got rid of his rifle for a while and was just an adventurer/explorer? It’s kinda like that, but all grown up.
