Driving the mighty rootsy stomp of Creedence Clearwater Revival, drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford lit the fuse for the band’s explosive sound both in the studio and live in concert. “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”
The basic track on that and the drum track is one of the best that we have. “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” is not a hard-rocking song. It’s as close to a ballad that Creedence ever got, and the message is good. I really enjoyed playing on that. For a hard rock and roll band,
