Hundreds of new rods are completed annually in our world of hot rodding, but there is something extraordinary about those 40s, 50s, and 60s hot rods that bring a smile to every "true" rodder. This is especially true when a car has a history then ends up on the brink of going to the scrap yard, and is painstakingly restored to its glory days.

This 1932 Ford roadster was owned by L. A. Roadster member Ian Cusey of Bell Gardens, California. He purchased the car from high school classmate Don Streiff in 1962, who had purchased it from a fireman in Riverside.
