Aslew of novelties were released by Panerai, mainly centered on two attributes — case size and case material. The Submersible range distinguished by its unidirectional rotating timing bezel saw the addition of the QuarantaQuattro (“forty-four” in Italian) line, a new 44mm case size that will, as Panerai says, form the “cornerstone” of the collection, coming in between the current 47mm and 42mm case sizes.
