What is it?
A vast online collection of free images, documents, music, games, software, animations and videos taken from all those CD-ROMs and floppy disks you collected from magazines and events several decades ago.
How big are we talking?
Massive. When we checked it had 113,084,317 files from over 7,000 discs, totaling 11.4 terabytes – or megabytes. It’s been collated from files uploaded to the Internet Archive (), which is the world’s leading library of old websites and “cultural artefacts in digital form”. Impressively, the team behind it have already converted the files, so you can open and play them instantly.
