Competitors travelled hundreds, even thousands of kilometres, some around floodwaters, to be at Bridgeman Park, Capella in the undercover arena to compete at the 2022 Australasian Team Roping Association National Finals.
It’s been two long years since the National Finals ran, and this year saw the inclusion of two more events to the programme. For ATRA members this event rounds out the year of competition, where National Champions are crowned, and provides an opportunity to catch up with friends and celebrate the sport.
The event began with a 10 Slide Roping on Wednesday, and then moved into the National Finals events on the Thursday, with the Marsh Carney Saddlery Junior events opening the program.
