Biostimulants: the catalysts your farm might need

The first thousand days of a child's life, from conception to the age of about two-and-a-half, will determine the health that the person will enjoy for the rest of his or her life.

And if the COVID-19 pandemic taught humanity anything, it is that underlying health conditions become crucial when the body is placed under pressure.

The same can be said for a plant.

"If you can establish a good crop from germination, you'll have good root development. This in turn will give your plants a better chance of survival," says James Freemantle, managing director of Omnia Agriculture International, the agriculture division of Omnia Holdings Limited.

And it's here where biostimulants come in. to replace fertiliser, seed or healthy soil. Rather, it's a catalyst to optimise the interaction between all of these elements.
