I wasn’t selfless, but I was not calculating in terms of personal gain,” Anna Sorokin said to The Guardian. “I never just wanted to be seen as somebody. It wasn’t to be famous to get attention, I wanted to make my mark.”
The comments come from the ex-convict as she explores her new-found freedom. Sorokin’s comment is just one from the many interviews that she’s granted since leaving prison. Despite her words though, Sorokin seems to be revelling in the attention, rocking chic looks for her appearances at her parole meetings and modelling for the covers of magazines, including and’s Rebel issue.
