Mason Definition

Dom Mason launched the first Definition back in 2015, and it’s testament to the progressive nature of that original bike – one of the industry’s first ‘all-road’ bikes – that little has changed. Tyre clearance is 35mm (32mm with mudguards), there are guard and rack mounting points and an aluminium frame still beats at the bike’s heart.

That frame is made from custom drawn tubes by Dedacciai, and although ‘made in Italy’ will be a big tick for romantics it is also much more than this. It has resulted in an exquisitely finished frame with very smooth welds – something aluminium doesn’t readily lend itself to – and one with some inspired design cues.
