ARTISTS WITH HOME STUDIOS DENIED INSURANCE

Agreat number of artists produce artwork in their bedrooms, at the dining table or in their backyards. As some of the lowest-paid professionals in Australia, many artists cannot afford business insurance as well as an offsite studio to produce their work. The impacts of recent floods, as well as the ongoing pandemic, have meant that more artists have had no choice but to close their studios and set up their practice at home.
