Doddington Hall was completed in 1600 by Robert Smythson – one of England’s foremost Elizabethan architects – and has never been sold or cleared out since. As a result, there is a feeling of authenticity and heritage to each Christmas celebration at this still-lived-in and much-treasured family home.
