Turning Wheels

Warwick in Queensland is the town where I was born, back in 1950. Growing up I was surrounded by a lot of animals – my favourites being horses, dogs, cats and birds. I was also surrounded by beautiful countryside. I favoured the areas growing crops and sunflowers, and I referred to them as ‘my patchwork quilts’.

Right from childhood, I always imagined myself painting – but I didn’t have the opportunity.

I love to create and I have always been involved in craftwork throughout different stages of my life. When I turned 50, I started to write poetry and had several pieces published. I was successful in competitions with my jewellery
