MUSK CREATES STINK

Tesla CEO Elon Musk jokingly announced plans to buy the football club in an extravagant tweet that has sent football fans into meltdown. Many United fans thought that the US billionaire was truly interested in buying the club and expressed their delight. But their hopes were nipped in the bud when Musk clarified that he was joking and he wasn’t interested in acquiring any sports teams. United fans are not fond of the current owners of the club as they hold them responsible for the club’s drastic decline over the past few seasons.

West Ham fans threw fake money at Jesse Lingard after the player opted to sign for Nottingham Forest instead of the Hammers this summer. Lingard was a free agent at the end of last season after his Manchester United contract came to an end. An offer to return to the London Stadium was on the table for the midfielder after he had a successful loan spell during the 20/21 season. However, he decided the best move for himself was a move to newly promoted side Nottingham Forest, sparking anger within the West Ham fan base. The Hammers faithful branded Lingard’s move to Forest as money motivated. During the match between the two sides, West Ham fans threw fake money from the crowd onto the pitch when Lingard walked over to take a corner as they showed their discontent towards the player.
