It takes a fair bit more legwork to get exactly what you want compared to just clicking a ‘buy’ button on your favourite retailer’s website to purchase something new, but there is a strong chance you will get what you want for less expense. Therein lies the appeal of second-hand hi-fi, after all, and it can be a satisfying experience if you are careful in the buying decision and process.
