I do not know any shooter who loves cleaning firearms. At best, we do not mind it, but we still prefer it to be as quick and easy as possible. The market is flooded with cleaning products, all claiming to be the be-all and end-all of firearm maintenance and ranging in price from dirt cheap and useless to exorbitantly expensive and damn good. I have been around long enough not to be easily excited by new cleaning products. Therefore, when the SA JAGTER/HUNTER editor asked me to review the Schütze gun care products, I was not overly excited, especially since two of the cannisters appeared to be lubricants and protectors.
I have long learnt to keep an open mind, though. I have a 1910 Mannlicher, chambered for the obsolete .375 Rimless
