The Smoke Eaters

hat was originally known as the Trail Senior The team was part of the West Kootenay Senior League before the Trail rink got artificial ice in 1927. League play had resumed a few years earlier, following a partial suspension of play during the First World War. The team won the Savage Cup, the BC senior amateur prize, in 1927 and continued to win it until 1933.
