2001 MG ZS 180

OWNED SINCE: 2020

MILEAGE: 113,118

In my editorial last month, I made a promise that I’d crack on and do something with my ZS 180, and it seems that saying such things really is a catalyst for action – making a commitment also made me get my backside down to my workshop and get on with the job in hand, a job that had been stalled for over a year.

Regular readers will know that I bought the 180 just before the first national lockdown, and my plan was to take it from its modified condition backZSs made, registered just five weeks after the Z Cars were launched, and is the perfect car for long-term preservation if I do the job properly.
