I was diagnosed with ADHD last year, at the age of 23. After years of struggling to navigate my emotions, I was finally able to understand the inner workings of my brain. A form of neurodiversity, ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, defined as “a neurological disorder that impacts the parts of the brain that help us plan, focus on and execute tasks”.
