One of the most revealing moments in is a rarity within Lego games: a scene that is largely played with a straight face. Then again, sending up The Rise Of Skywalker’s climax must have been a tall order. Witnessing thousands of Resistance ships suddenly arriving on the scene at once, only to be collectively zapped by electricity – from the fingers of a villain thought to be long deceased at the film’s outset – you’d be forgiven for believing this to be an example of carries a similar maximalist spirit: from characters to ships, skills to collectibles, it’s clearly been built with the belief that more is more.
