Q My friend’s 2010 Hyundai i10 1.2 is displaying codes ‘P2096’ and ‘P0137’. Looking at the freeze-frame data, the short-term fuel trim would seem to be OK, if my understanding of fuel trim is correct. Is it a bit lean for the engine load, though? Looking at the equivalence ratio, it seems that it’s not enriching the mixture, as the value isn’t greater than 1. I’ll send you the FF data separately, but I don’t know why it doesn’t show the O2 voltages. My friend says he graphed the output of the post-cat O2 sensor and it was a fairly steady line and the pre-cat O2 sensor switches OK and the car runs fine.
