The celebrated French glassmaker, René Lalique, founded his business in Paris in 1887, and in 1907 began working in collaboration with Coty to create ornate perfume bottles. Over the following years he designed bottles for the leading perfume houses including Worth, d’Orsay, Houbigant and Roger & Gallet. This exuberant design was made for Maison Lalique in 1920.
