I hope that Jayne might be able to date this family photo which I’m told was taken near Ballynahinch, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Two of the women are probably my 2x greatgrandfather’s unmarried sisters, Mary Jane Nelson (born c.1831?) and Isabella Nelson (born c.1845?). The question then arises: who is the third? She might possibly be my 2x greatgrandmother, Jane Nelson (née Kerr), c.1839-1898. Alternatively, the two older women could be the Nelson sisters, and the younger-looking woman in front perhaps a niece. It is unlikely that Mary Jane and Isabella’s mother, b.1809, is here as
