Q You are exactly the same age as Kenya Airways. How does that make you feel?
It is such an honour to share the same age as KQ; I can't wait to see what the next 45 years hold for both the airline and me.
Q When did you first become aware of Kenya Airways?
There were two instances, both in the 1980s. I first heard about KQ when I was six years old through a family friend, who was an in-flight crew, and a cousin, who was a flight engineer. At the time, I could not conceptualise much about the airline, but I remember them both in uniform, which made them stand out and appear very attractive.
