Spotlight on... Gloucestershire Family History Society

The Gloucestershire Family History Society (GFHS) was formed in 1979 as an off-shoot of the Bristol and Avon Family History Society, to promote research into family history, with particular emphasis on Gloucestershire.The society has over 1,000 members worldwide and is a member of the Family History Federation.

GFHS is an active and busy society, which offers many benefits and opportunities to members. It is one of the partners in Gloucestershire Heritageinvestigate their family history not only in Gloucestershire, but anywhere in the UK and beyond.
