SOPHIE CONRAN'S CORNER OF TREASURES

PORTRAIT OF AN ANTIQUE

This is a favourite space in my study; a light-filled room at the frontdrawers and their hand-carved handles. The jugs are all English and would have been used in a dairy. Having grown up on a dairy farm, the jugs resonate with me and I always pick them up when I see them because I love their shape and think they look like a flock of geese together. I love nothing more than filling them with dried allium heads and roses that I've picked from the garden.
