#05 Wobble bass

OK, so we’re at least a decade or more past the peak point of wobble bass appearing in popular drum & bass and dubstep tunes – but hear me out! Although this tutorial is aimed at recreating the wobble synth bass that you’ve heard in these genres, what I’m going to walk you through will hopefully inspire the type of experimentation that will help you come up with your own unique sonic qualities. After all, at some point the wobble was an innovation rather than a recreation. Experiment, understand the techniques, then go off and forge sounds of your own.
