Draw with colour

JOHN’S TOP TIPS

Take a step back to view your drawing from time to time. This helps you see that it is going as it should.

A sharpened electric eraser is great for taking out small areas without removing the surrounding colours.

Keep a piece of sandpaper to hand for making sharp points on your pencils.

Clean your eraser on a piece of scrap paper before using it on your drawing to avoid unwanted marks.
