Having gone through a period of being is considered passé, chrome plating is returning, body colour and black having been de rigueur in the marketplace for some considerable time. Whilst considered a modern concept, in Jaguar terms ‘body colour’ actually dates back to the wire wheels often fitted to XKs and ‘Mk 1s’ in the ‘40s and ‘50s!
