RARE MEDIEVAL SITE DISCOVERED NEAR STORNOWAY

The site, discovered close to the hamlet of Gress near Stornoway, and made up of linear stone features, pits and postholes, produced over 100 shards of pottery, an unidentified coin, plus fish and animal bones.
