ROYAL WARSHIP FOUND AFTER CENTURIES ON SEABED

The discovery of a 17th-century warship off the Norfolk coast has been hailed as the most significant maritime find since the . HMS was actually located in 2007 and identified in 2012 by one of its bronze bells (), but the news was only made public in June so thatsank while carrying the future James VII and II, following his argument with the pilot over how to navigate the area’s sandbanks. The wreck was discovered by diving brothers Julian and Lincoln Barnwell, their father and two friends after a four-year search that covered over 5,000 nautical miles.
