XK8 roof fault

QI am the I am thefirst owner of an XK8

4.0. I bought the car new in

1998 and have driven 117,000 km since then. There was a sudden leakage of the power latch hose at the top centre of the windscreen with a massive loss of the hydraulic hood lift fluid. I renewed the whole power latch hose set. Now the hood moves but it does not close because the central closing hook moves down short before the hood latch striker arrives.

The rear windows remain open all the time. I disconnected the battery several times but the problem remains. I would be glad if you have any advice because
