THE AUCTION
Sometimes a gem of a collection comes up at auction, offering items from 1787. The artist who dominated the early years of the magazine was Sydenham Edwards (1768–1819) and some of these watercolours are by him. The 20 lots are expected to make over £20,000 in total, with estimates from £300 to £2,000.
