Page 28 top photo, No 781 was the last of the batch 772-781 Borsig 8943-52, they later became Southern Railway 1772-1781 & finally BR 31772-31781. The Beyer Peacock locos were 760-771 BP 5824-5835/14, SR 1760-1771 & BR 31760-31771. In 1926 the Southern ordered 15 very similar locos class L1 1753-1759/1782-1789 NBL 23356-23370/26, later BR 31753-31759/31782-31789.
Page 29 bottom photo, the loco pictured is numbered 83 not 55 and is a 4-6-0 not a 2-6-0 and is not even remotely like the Norte loco described. I don’t know which railway 83 worked on but it was not the Norte. Borsig 6444-6448 were Norte 1491-1495 later RENFE 130 2101-2105 I don’t know where the number 55 comes from. This No is not
