COUNTRY Comeback

More than a decade ago, Amber and Charles Rainey were on the hunt for an older two-story home where they could comfortably raise their two boys. Nothing clicked with their needs, and some of the floor plans they encountered were a bit too quirky for their tastes. Then they came across an 1800s farmhouse in Woolrich, Pennsylvania, an unincorporated community with a name known worldwide for the production of woolen apparel and textiles. “As soon as we came here, we loved it,” Amber says.
