Infected ‘crack software’ Google results

What’s the threat?

Hackers are infecting Google search results with fake software downloads that install 12 types of malware on your computer, including Trojans that steal your passwords, spyware that steals your credit-card details and bogus tools that claim to remove junk from your machine.

The results appear in searches), which detected NullMixer, gave the example of a search for ‘crack software’ producing several sites that link to the malware (see screenshot).
